Arsenal

Arsenal, or known as the gunners, is one of the top teams of the Premeir League and has attracted many fans for their attacking style of play.

 Arsenal has enjoyed English League successes over the years. They have the third highest number of Premier League wins with 13. They also have claimed 10 FA Cup wins. They have gone to the Champions League Final in 2006 as well. They have achieved the double three times.

Arsenal was started way back in 1886. They won major trophies only after abt 40 years. Their popularity and the number of fans are immense as well. They are also among the most wealthiest clubs ever. It has stayed in the first division for a amazing 81 seasons and this is the best for an English team. They have also kept the reocrd of 49 unbeaten games in the 2003-04 years. Arsenal also holds the record for palying 10 consecutive games witohut letting the opposition score in the Champions League.

Arsenal is in North London and their new stadium is the Emirates Stadium.

Manager: Arsene Wenger is at the moment one of the top managers in England. He is French and is 58 years old now. He has a 24 year old history as a football manager and has been the manager of Arsenal since 1996. He is the manager of Arsenal with the highest number of wins and he is also the first non-English manager of the Gunners,

Captian: William Gallas is a Frenchman who plays as a defender. He joined Chelsea in 2001 and has played a good 159 games for them. Then he joined Arsenal in an exchange plan (Chelsea got Ashley Cole). He has appeared for France nearly 70 times. After Chelsea did not offer him an improved contract and he did not turn up for an American tour for Chelsea, Chelsea gave his number 13 shirt to Micheal Ballack and this made Gallas more frustrated with Chelsea.
